UCF Knights Plaza Flash Map
I recently got contracted by friends Designzillas to create a flash based interactive map for the UCF Knights Plaza Website that Designzillas has been creating. Its simple but functional, using a little javascript to link the map to the detailed descriptions that are stored and editable through the content management system that the Knights Plaza site is based on. Hooray for collaboration!
Single Cover: New Sheriff in Town - Solillaquists of Sound
Got to use some more of Swamburger's art to design this digital single cover for the new Solillaquists of Sound single entitled, "New Sheriff in Town". This song was chosen to be apart of the Rock the Bells digital sampler that is to be released on May 12, 2009.
Digital Speedometer using ADNS-3080 mouse optics for electric skateboard
This was a really fun project to work on. With the help of Dr. Al Ducharme, I designed this little gadget for my final project at UCF. The main components were a ADNS-3080 optical sensor from a standard computer mouse, a lens with the correct focal distance, and a PIC 18F252. I really wanted to do something involving my late electric skateboard, because at the time we had a posse that would meet up on thursdays to ride the boards through the streets of Orlando til the wee hours of the night. No Dumping!
Central Florida has a lot of lakes. I noticed a sign much like this on the drainage inlet down the street from my house, but after examining the shoreline of the lake I live on, I realized that people must not be able to see these little signs on the ground. So... Look at it!! Don't litter in the lakes!!
Skinny Buddha Web Headers
SkinnyBuddha.com supports and showcases artists in Central Florida. It's hard to classify the artists on Skinnybuddha.com into one 'genre' of art. They are all very different in styles. That idea put me on the kick to create each page's header completely-nothing like the one created previous to the present. Have a look at few of my favorites after the break.
